Kuler Sketch - Mermaid

I've been trying to find something to inspire me to create art. I'm not sure what triggered me to think of kuler as a source of inspiration but I love this site!

One thing that I am not good at, when it comes to art, is color. I have a difficult time choosing colors that work well together. I like kuler because it takes the guess work out of color theory. I'm hoping to do an artwork a week based on a color theme off kuler.

Last week's color scheme instantly spoke "mermaid" to me. I started the image in Illustrator (my favorite illustrating program) and finished it up in Photoshop.
