Time has been just flying by. Life seems to be little more than a routine. Every day get ready for work, work 8-9 hours, get home, eat dinner, get ready for bed, go to sleep, wake up the next morning and start all over again. I’m sure many people live their lives like this. I don’t mind it, I’m happy to have a job, but I don’t feel I take the time to really appreciate life. More »
Unfortunately life comes first. Working full time and being a mom to a toddler are two extremely time consuming responsibilities. I do have things in the works though…
Lately I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, about life, family, what I want to do for a living. I think this year will bring a lot of positive changes that are both exciting and scary but in the end, I’m hoping to work towards a goal that will make me and my family truly happy.
My mom visits a lot from Maui so I bought her a sewing machine. Today I decided to try my hand at sewing. I haven’t used a sewing machine in years and it took me a while to set it up even with instructions. More »

Here are more photos from 2011. These were taken at our house. Kira really loves the water. One of the “treats” she gets to enjoy when my parents visit is playing in the pool. My dad is always happy to inflate it and fill it up. Usually we’re too busy during the week to bring it out so I’m glad that my dad is always willing to let Kira play in it.
It’s hard to believe how fast time has been flying by. My last post was in April which was two months ago! It’s hard to believe that Kira is going to be two in a couple months!
Kira is truly growing like a weed. Everyday we discover something new. Whether it’s a new word, a new favorite food, or a new skill she can do, we’re constantly amazed
My parents are currently visiting since our babysitter is taking a long (and well deserved) vacation. It’s nice to have the extra hands and eyes to help us with Kira. I’m sure they enjoy staying here as much as we enjoy having them.
